Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 (replica with ejectable seat)

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody! After accustoming to new aerodynamics I want to show you one of my newest planes in 1.0.

Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21

The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 is a supersonic jet fighter aircraft, designed by the Mikoyan-Gurevich Design Bureau in the Soviet Union. Approximately 60 countries over four continents have flown the MiG-21, and it still serves many nations a half-century after its maiden flight. The fighter made aviation records. At least by name, it is the most-produced supersonic jet aircraft in aviation history and the most-produced combat aircraft since the Korean War, and it had the longest production run of a combat aircraft (1959 to 1985 over all variants).

Nice, dude! Loving the seat! the replica is awesome, don't get me wrong, but I'm more interested in the seat, mind if I make this a subassembly that I can use in my builds?

Thanks! And yes, you can use it freely, of course :)

As far as I know the basic jet engine doesn't look like that.

Did you change the model and/or texture of the jet engine?

Oh! That's really great design! I don't think he did, I think it's just two jet engines clipped inside each other, with one being rotated slightly. I might be wrong but that's my only theory to why it would look different.

BriXman is right - I clipped two engines for close to IRL performance and one engine was rotated a little, so that doubled engine looks more smooth
