Some thoughts on building a modded career.

I had been thinking lately about building a modded KSP installation to start a YouTube series. It would involve playing career mode for a slow building progression, and trying to create a rough analog for some real historical space missions. (Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Explorer, Mariner, etc.) This wouldn't be a Let's Play style series, more of a cinematic approach using KSP for visuals, and some archived NASA audio recordings.

I have managed to build a functioning KSP v1.0.2 installation with the following mods:

Active Memory Reduction Mod, Aviation Lights (Parts), BD Animation Modules, Chatterer, Contract Configurator, Contract Pack: ScanSat Lite, Crew Manifest, Crowd Sourced Science, DMagic Orbital Science, Docking Port Alignment Indicator, EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements - Low Res, Firespitter Core, Improved Chase Camera, Kerbal Aircraft Expansion (Parts), Kerbal Alarm Clock, Kerbal Flight Data, Kerbal Joint Reinforcement, Kerbonov Pack (Parts), Kronal Vessel Viewer, KSPX (Kerbal Stock Part eXpansion)(Parts), KW Rocketry (Parts), MechJeb 2, Mini Airbrakes (Parts), Modular Rocket Systems Lite(Parts), Module Manager, PreciseNode, RCS Sounds, Rover Wheel Sounds, SCANsat terrain mapping (Parts), ScienceAlert, StageRecovery, Stock Bug Fix Modules, Surface Lights (Parts), Taurus HCV (Parts), Temperature Gauge Killer, Toadicus Tools, Blizzy Toolbar, Transfer Window Planner.

Does anyone have any ideas regarding this mod list? Are any of these redundant, or are there any better versions of these mods? I have spent many hours reading the mod works section of the forum, but I am looking for input from any long time forum members. I was thinking of swapping KW Rocketry parts for FASA parts, but I don't want to go too realistic with the visuals, I want the videos to still look like KSP.

Any thoughts or input would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
