we are seeking applications for space hotels

we are looking for a hotel to hold over 100 kerbals in space over kerbal

the orbit can be at any height (above 100.000m, not captured by moons or leaving kerbal Sphere of influence)

or inclination and close to circular around kerbal

you must be able to supply images of the following:

1) modular parts

2) record of construction progress

3) arrival ship and return craft

4) full station in orbit

5) image of map showing orbit (and inclination if needed)

all entries welcome.

That's the "letter of the law".

I'd say the "spirit of the law" mandates this only in situations where in-game feasibility is in question. From a technical point of view this challenge is certainly possible, as it is (at the very least) a sequence of docked sections adding up to 100 Kerbal accommodations. There is much scope for imagination and ingenuity however which is why I quite like the idea.

If we all slavishly adhered to rules then we'd never actually build anything fun.

Is ther any bonus to points (assuming there will be points) if the hotel is somewhere other than LKO? Like, would a player get more points for a station around Eeloo, or is it Kerbin only?

didn't really think about points

but was thinking :

- Ring section (eg. DS9)

- Hotel towers

- Power generation

- Docking ports

- maybe fuel supply for ships

you can have the hotel at any height or inclination (tilt) around kerbal

as long as the orbit is stable and circular

by angle changing the docking ports
