Access To Science Archives in Sandbox Mode

The R&D complex at KSC, if you try to access it, does not open and says that "This facility is closed".

However, the Science Archives would be a useful in-game to-do list for Sandbox mode, if you're trying to collect all the science in Sandbox, so why is it not available?

I agree. The science archive would be a great checklist for us sandbox players. It's been mentioned several times now in the Suggestions forum. At this point, I doubt anything will change.

So start a game in science mode, give yourself a few thousand science points through the debug menu/savefile editing, research the entire tech tree and you will have exactly what you want.
