Nothing political in my post I just wanted to point out Ariane 5's exceptional track record. That rocked did not had a single failed launch since 2002 - gotta be a record While Proton...well, occassional explosions are pretty - but i'd prefer more successfully delivered payloads and less RUD's.

Delta II has almost a hundred successful launches in a row...

It's more reliable than the Space Shuttle.

2 failures out of about 150 total flights...
