REQUEST!! Satellite in close orbit of Kerbol

Hi Fellow Kerbals,

I want to place an satellite (with science stuff to science for science!) in a close orbit of Kerbol. Let's say 1.000.000.000m.

Can anyone design a satellite capable of reaching that orbit from LKO? (I can manage myself to bring it up there)

No restrictions, i was thinking about ion engines combined with thermonuclear ones. Also useful gravitiy assists are welcome!
