KSP Manual?

I don't think that there is any manual for this game right now. I highly doubt that squad has a textfile lying around to send you, as they would have published it online if they had.

So you would have to do the writing and the designing...

The wiki is probably the closest thing to a manual. Although it is rather unfortunate that every single human being interested in KSP is more absorbed in playing the game rather than documenting it.

This could be the very definition of success in video game design. :)

Alas, the wiki is a dessicated, frozen tumbleweed bouncing across the surface of eeloo, someone must retrieve it and return it to Kerbin, that is why we're here.

Thanks. I'll do my research and see if I can get something out that may please the gents at Squad. If for no other reason that thanks for a great game.

Has anyone ever made a printable manual for this game?

Like this?

Or on design and construction like this?

Or like any of the written things in the Drawing Board (link in signature) and the rest of the tutorial section?

Note that Squad will completely ignore anything except videos and cakes ^^.

Sure there's a manual; it's called The Exploration of Space and it was written by Arthur C. Clarke in the 1950s. :D

(Seriously though, when I first started playing KSP, I picked up that book and used it as a source for both explanation of how rockets work and inspiration of what to try building.)

I'm working with FishiMishi, the author of the old Reddit KSP Guidebook, to make a new up-to-date one! There's a link to the forum thread about it in my signature. I studied Graphic Design in school so it's something I'm pretty good at so I can make it look pretty, whereas FishiMishi is the one providing all the info (I'm competent enough at the game, but I'm no Scott Manley!)

There's a very basic preview in the forum thread along with a checklist of all the info that'll be provided, if you think there's more stuff that needs to be added then please let me know! :D

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
