Simple Gloster Meteor

Recommended Posts

* Forget space!

* Never be troubled by transonic drag!

* Relive the good old days of underpowered jet aircraft!

With the semi-scale Gloster Meteor:

Special features include:

No Gimballing or reaction wheels - It's all down to control surfaces!

Massive asymmetric thrust if one engine flames out thanks to authentic poor design!

Guaranteed obsolete within 6 years! (no refunds given)

Extra special features:

Even more nerfed stock engines to give that "only just enough power" thrill!

Unuseable fuel included as trimming ballast, just to torment the pilot on long flights!

Thanks Percy! It'll join the ranks of my Science aircraft! I might try and make a P-80 and Me-262 just to round out the early jet thing and maybe the Mig-9. I run KAX so I have a few propeller aircraft to start flight testing and such. (It's a little unrealistic right now.... The D-25 is.... Entirely too overpowered.... As in I can approach the sound barrier... In level flight at around 3kft. That said, I know people are working on that.

Downloaded both sets of files!
