Is this enough fuel to get me home?

Hello, everyone! Thanks to the community here I finally made it to orbit, and after 4 in-game hours, I am ready to come home. It was all a blast, until I just noticed something..I have 30 Liquid Fuel and 35 oxidizer left in my tank, is this enough to get me back? The engine is a Terrier engine. I hope it is, I know it's a little.. Thanks!

it depends, what's your orbit right now ? Just give us the Apoapsis and the Periapsis values. You also need to tell us what the mass of your ship is (ship icon on the right in map view) or what parts it is made of.

Otherwise it´s pretty impossible to tell.

Mass: It says total mass 2.97 tons, and it is made out of: 1 x Mk. I Command Pod, 2 x Mystery Goo, 2 x Communitron 16, 1x SC-2001 Science Jr., 2x FL-T400 tanks, 2x TR-18A Stack Decoupler, 1x LV-909 Terrier Engine, 1x Heat Shield 1.25 m and of course, Jeb, and 1 x Mk16 Parachute.

Your periapsis is very low and apoapsis very high : you should be able to do it without problem. Coast to Apoapsis and there burn retrograde (slowly) until your periapsis goes down to about 25-30km. Dont be afraid to bring the periapsis very low or even inside the surface if you have a heatshield !

pretty sure 30 units of fuel will do the job, and with a margin

You should have about 385m/s delta v left in the tank. Set up a manoeuvre node at apoapsis and drag the retrograde marker until you have an aerocapture. If the displayed burn is less than 385m/s you'll make it back.

How do I set up a manoever mode? And it worked, the Pe now disappeared and it will bring me in, with fuel to spare! Thanks!

You can't yet, you're in carreer mode. YOu need to upgrade the tracking station for that. You don't have to yet, either.

Yes, there is a way. two, in fact. 1: switch to it and press "Recover Vehicle"

2. Go to the tracking station and select it. Press "Recover Vehicle"
