KSP Crash to Desktop on launch!

KSP: 1.02 Windows 7 x64 SP1 - Using STEAM.

Problem: Crash to Desktop on take-off

Mods installed:

Active Texture Management 5-0

Chatterer v0.9.5

SETI Community Tech Tree v0.8.4

SETI Contract v0.9.1

Community Tech Tree v2.1

Kerbal Engineer Redux - v1.0.16.6

SCANsat v12.0

SmokeScreen v2.6.1

ModuleManager v2.6.5

KSPI Extended v1.1.14

And I try to keep all of them updated by having KSP-AVC v1.1.5 check them on startup.

Reproduction steps:

Using any spacecraft, launch into spaaaaace. Around 30,000m in the game crashes to desktop.

You say "around 30km, it crashes". See if the following occurs: at exactly 750m/s, it crashes. Then we know that this crash is related to the Krakensbane.
