potato batteries, flashlights duct taped as lights and duct tape or plain electrical wire struts, patched parachutes, wooden or scrap metal heatshields?

Maybe a plastic cockpit?

Sorta like they took apart a whole bunch of toys and put together a makeshift cockpit, also, transparent plastic for the glass

I love the idea, and also I might show a sneak peak on the new Command Pod tonight :wink:

Inanimate suspensionless landing gear (lead pipes) and to follow ksp, a trashbin full of boom (trashbin solid rocket booster) maybe?

I Changed it to "PVC PIPE" because they're kerbals, you still get credit :D

All that is realllly cool, but will you bother with liquid fuel engines/rcs/rover wheels/ISRUdrillstuff?

because rcs could be made with a block of wood with funnels sticking out :P

a glowstick strapped on with duct tape so it lights every direction very weakly?

And maybe motorized wooden wagon wheels for medium wheels?

(Im sorry for getting more and more complex, also C4 stack decouplers)
