Camera too fast/ overly responsive in VAB

Recommended Posts

Hello guys, first time Linux-user here.

So, my problem is, that i recently installed Ubuntu 14.042 (for the first time ever, so please bear with my lack of experience) to run KSP without lag, but now the I the camera in VAB is pretty much uncontrollable.

Of course, I have read several threads and tried their suggested solutions.

My first try was by adding "LC_ALL=C ./KSP.x86", "LC_ALL=C ./KSP.x86_64", "LC_ALL=C %command%" and "LC_ALL=C %command%_64" (yes, I tried all four" , however this did not solve the issue.

After that I found the Linux Thread, which suggested deleting my settings.cfg, which I tried.

Ssurprisingly that worked, but after restarting the game, oh wonder, the problem popped back up, VAB uncontrollable again.

So as my last resort I came here, hoping that anyone knows a permament solution for my problem (or why it keeps coming back)

Mods Installed (although this happens in Vanilla as well):

KAS

KIS

Infernal Robotics

CrewManifest

MechJeb2

Tweakscale

TweakableEverything

ToadicusTools

RCSBuildAid

Post you settings.cfg, or just the relevant bit: egrep 'CAMERA|SENS' settings.cfg.

Again, but with instructions: Check your mouse polling rate, setting it (or having a mouse that defaults to) above 125Hz can cause issues with KSP.

Also, what Desktop environment are you running?
