A-10 Thunderbolt & My Other Creations

This is where I will post all of my KSP creations, old and new. If you post your creation, please use spoilers to prevent the page from becoming laggy.

(STOCK PARTS)

Here is my flying (very unstable) attempt at making something in real life work in a game. I give you... The A-10!

Here\'s my attempt. Turned out pretty stable, actually. Bit tail heavy, but a little trim fixes that right up. I think the dihedral is the key to it\'s stability.

can you please add a .craft file, I really want to fly an A-10 (but suck at building space-planes).

Sure thing. Just remember to keep ASAS on, and it\'ll handle smoothly, if a bit slowly. You can tap f while turning to turn quicker, but that ends up a little more unstable. There\'s a drogue chute too, if you need it. No cockpit eject option, but you can add one pretty easily.

Here is my version of the stock A-10. I included pylons on the wings where weapons would be mounted and flaps for lower minimum speed (The flaps actually work). I also included an ejection system for people on dangerous missions. It is stable in flight, but I have not tested emptying the fuel tanks. I might upload pictures later.
