Installing a 1.02 mod into 1.00?

Hi, I have the DOE mod for 1.0 installed, but unfortunately it has a rather annoying bug - you get clusters of really bright flares that come and go randomly. Looking at DOE's changelog for 1.02, there's a mention of 'fixed ghost flares' which sounds promising. I'm wary of just deleting the old DOE and installing the newer one and possibly screwing my game up, so I thought I'd ask if anyone knows whether a 1.02 mod will work with a 1.00 game?

It could work but there is no guarantee. Just try it!

Don't delete the old one, just move it to a different directory. If it doesn't work, move it back.

BTW if you're staying at 1.0 for the aerodynamics, you can adjust 1.0.2 to have 1.0's aerodynamics.
