I just found this very interesting game:

Boasting hard sci-fi as one of it's selling point, this game allow you to wage interplanetary war not with fancy spaceships, but arrays of railguns to launch projectiles with escape velocity to space and hit another planet using orbital mechanics. From the look of it, this seems like it will be right at home for many of us here. Currently on 50% sale on steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/278910
