KSP can't continue any prior saves

One of my saves was corrupted (happens a lot), so I did the usual renaming of 'quicksave' to 'persistent'. This seemed to work when I relaunched KSP, but another issue has arisen.

Any prior saves, including all training missions & scenarios, cannot be loaded. The preview loads fine, but when I click the 'continue' button, nothing happens.

The game DOES run new games normally, though (still can't access scenarios or training though)

Chatterer

Planetshine

MechJeb

I used the search function and found no threads with this specific issue.
