Another Race (AI)

What I would love, except for RAM usage, is for another race! Maybe blue kerbals or something... But thing is, here is a more detailed thing:

The race would live on laythe, and every 4 days, would launch a vessel. These vessels would progress like the player, and would collect science, money and trust. Eventually, they would create space stations and even fly over to you when they meet resource requirements!

New mechanic:

If your trust or relation is high enough, you can research Diplomatic Advancements. This would be costly and could branch from one of the survivability upgrades. What it would do is it would allow you to see telemetry data from the tracking station of the other race's vessels and progress.

After that, you could research Diplomatic Harmony. This upgrade would cost a LOT. What is does: allows you to dock with their ships, launch from their launch pads (without scientific parts...) And request money or offer contracts (to an extent)

Offering money to them would increase relations, requesting it would lower them.

This would be hard to code, but it would be really cool!

I actually really like this idea, but for some kind of interstellar spaceflight. If your trust is low, then they will attempt to shoot you down, and even send ships to try to crash into yours.

Maybe they would only do this if you have something costly, delicate in orbit or they have enough money to actually do the manoeuvre

That's also why I decided to make the race start there. Landing would be horrible, water manoeuvre is bad, the atmosphere is incredibly thick, the drag is immense, there's pretty much no land, it's a battlefield out there!
