The Hermes Program (RSS Challenge)

Recommended Posts

It's 2105. After putting a base on the Moon, 3 landings on Mars and Venus, and multiple Pluto probes, NASA is ready for a new program: The Hermes missions. These are manned missions set for the first manned missions and explorations of Mercury. They have the funding, but they have yet to figure out how to do it. That is where you step in. As a new rocket scientist with a simulator almost as accurate as real life, you must make a simulated Mercury mission that could best suit NASA on exploring the hot ball of iron we call Mercury. This is the criteria for the mission.

The Rules

3 kerbals must at least land, and come home

You can assemble in LEO, but only 10 modules MAX

Use as many gravity assistsarrow-10x10.png as necessary

No debug menu tweaking unless allowed

No config changing

You can refuel only on Mercury, and only 5 times

No OP mods like Interstellar and such

Info and visuals obviously allowed

Real Fuels is allowed for the sake of time and part count
