EVA thrusters fire like crazy since KIS/KAS install

I have installed KIS/KAS over my vanilla KSP and since then I cannot control Kerbals on EVA. As soon as I press "R" for the jet pack, its thrusters fire like nuts, sending Jeb tumbling head over heels, cannot stop it.

Any advice?

KIS/KAS equipment adds a great deal of mass to your EVA Kerbal. And this affects his/her manoeuvrability. Try walking on Minmus for example. Without stored equipment they bunny-hop across the surface. WITH equipmen the run more or less like the would back home on Kerbin.

To avoid this the solution is simple: loose the equipment.

Jeb did not have any equipment. I had equipment in a storage container attached to the space ship, but Jeb exited the capsule with the EVA button. He did not have anything with him. Again: The thrusters won't stop firing; Jeb goes spinning back and forth, changing direction of rotation etc.

Problem is gone, I have reinstalled everything. Don't know what caused this.

Sometimes if they bump their head or get out their pod at a weird angle that can send them tumbling off into space out of control.
