Can't dock with Station, using Sr. Docking port

In the first one, after realizing the magnets were not working, I tried lining it up and RCSing into it by force; to no avail. I can't revert and I'm frustrated. So many bugs in this game.

sometimes backing off, quicksaving and reloading helps, even if you quicksave after discovering the problem. I've also found that these docking ports can be fairly fragile, make sure nothing is striking the port on launch.

Yea i tried backing off, exiting game, reloading; not working still. That has helped with other bugs but, not this one. Attempting not to vent.

admittedly, it is hard to tell which way those ports are facing, especially side on, because they're flat.

yep i was very annoyed. 280k down the drain for stupid mistake.
