Ho to correctly install MechJeb (or some other mod)

Hi fellow kerbonauts!!

So I've downloaded MechJeb and did extract the files in the gamedata map.

But I don't see for example no additional information in the VAB or SPH screen.

I do see the parts however...

Can someone help me?

If you see the parts then you have probably installed correctly

For MechJeb, you have to place one of the parts onto your rocket before any info will appear.

I usually just the Ckan mod installer [thread]100067[/thread]

It's easy to use and even detects incombatibilities. I've been using this forever since I am too lazy to do it myself
