different mods in different saves

HI all.

Is it possible to have diggerent game saves use different mods?

I.e. i want a career mode with KER, and a sandbox mode with Remote tech, and a few more 'difficult' mods.

Is this possible?

Not per save no. But you can make multiple copies of KSP, each with a different set of mods in gamedata.

That's how I roll. I have five installs of KSP currently.

It would be great to be able to enable/disable them on a per-save basis, would mean far less file duplication.
