What does the new Mk1 Inline model look like?

I didn't download KSP 1.0.3 yet, so I'd like to ask, A) what does the thing look like and what do you people think of it?

There's a screen shot floating around somewhere of it...either in the announcement thread or the article.

I personally don't really see what the difference is vs the version 1.0 cockpit, or why it was changed.

It'd be really nice to have a side-by-side comparison.

I like it. It doesn't have the double bump look that it used to have and the textures have more obvious handholds.

I like this model little more than the previous 1.0 version (looks more stock for me). But what about the second one? That old-styled cockpit doesn't fit the new design of plane parts. So I can't wait to see it remodeled. As well as small landing gear.

My only complaint is that you can't clip two of them together to get a decent looking realistic cockpit anymore.

True but you could now try putting them side by side like the XB-42 Mixmaster

I had no issues with the old design, though I must admit I think I prefer the new look to the old one.

@pandoras kitten YES! The adapter thing as root part, probe core on its front, and the two cockpits side by side! The fuselage maybe a problem though, but I'll figure something out.

I like the newer version. Seems like air intakes got some refreshing too!

Is it just me, or does the HUD crosshair point slightly downward in the new model? Bit of a bummer if it does; the old version was a huge help with weapon systems and docking.

Otherwise, I prefer the updated cockpit.
