A little thought for James Horner

... who died yesterday in the crash of his turboprop aircraft.

He composed the scores to many films I've been watching and rewatching in my youth, and helped me keep my child's heart alive.

Krull, Willow, Star Tek II : The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III : The Search for Spock, Aliens, The Name of the Rose, Glory.

Little James Horner sat in the corner,

or maybe it was up in the air.

He had a tragic crash,

his airplane got smashed,

and he went from "down here" to "up there".

Never heard of him but I couldn't resist. Plus, that glory soundtrack you posted is pretty damn nice.
