How does the development cycle work?

I know that the cycle is four weeks, with the feature-review in the third week and the end of the cycle in the fourth week, when the testers get to go bug searching.

My question is what happens after the release? Does the dev team take a (well-deserved) four week break, see what everybody thinks of the new update, find out what the community wants next, and then start a new cycle? Or are they already started with the next four week cycle?

It depends sometimes what happens after a release.

I think they spend a week or two brainstorming and taking a break, and then they go into the next development cycle.

You\'d have to ask someone who\'s actually part of the development cycle though to be exact.

I think they just said the Devs were going on vacation right now for some R&R
