Reviewing crash logs how to find the problem

I love KSP and been playing it a lot but im starting to lose the will with the constant crashes, ive updated to new version as I had a break, all was fine but some of the mods would not work due to new version. Ive updated the ones and they are the most downloaded ones, but now its unstable and crashes often in game, I get the log but cannot make any sense. there is no point playing the game without mods so im at a loss.

Can there not be a patch that will analyse the problem and tell you or at least give a hint. I really want this game to be one of the top as it can be but its unstable a lot of the time which is a issue.

Is anyone else having stability problems ?

It's almost always the game running out of memory (if on 32-bit aka Windows). If you check your error.log and it has an access violation as the error, that's the cause. The GCMonitor addon is quite helpful because it can tell you when the game is about to crash, so you can save and restart safely.

Thanks trying to find a version that is compatible, will they ever sort out the memory problems as I love this game but it really annoys me how unstable it is with todays computers

64-bit on Linux is the most stable version. 1.1 is supposed to include the upgrade to Unity 5, which should also help a lot.

Though the memory model of the game is fundamentally screwed, the old (now defunct) Load on Demand mod being integrated to stock would be the real way to fix things.
