Multiple Monitor Views (Cockpit/Orbit/Ship)

Recommended Posts

I was recently considering showcasing KSP at a small science fair type event for kids, and was hoping to use the Telemachus mod (or something similar) to make it a multi-person event. And I suddenly thought--if I could have one person play on a screen (say, the cockpit screen), while I could put up the outside ship on another monitor (a TV), while I had "mission control" yelling at the pilot, that'd be brilliant multiplayer fun! :D

Even in single player, I think it'd be brilliant to be able to have orbit and ship view available on two different screens at the same time (or just cockpit view on the side, for decoration).

As such, my suggestion is functionality to support a multi-monitor mode, where one can place different views on screens.

This has been a request for a VERY long time in just about every flight simulator I have ever played.

I don't know if it is a technical issue or just the game designers not wanting to alienate those that use only one screen but....

Even if the second and third screen are just blank and you could drag windows over to them it would be priceless.

Just about every modern plane out there has MFD's so make the second and third screen MFD's.

Then you could bring up the map on it or an outside view or a million other items.

So yes PLEASE give us true second and third etc screen support
