Pingonaut
How do you turn planes? Mine constantly spin out of control when I take off SAS (with SAS it takes too long to turn)
BillWiskins
The generally accepted method is to bank in the direction you wish to turn in, and then pull back on the stick (raise the nose (the \'S\' key, by default)). If your aircraft isn\'t handling smoothly, it\'s probably due to an imbalance or design flaw somewhere.
Kryten
Also, are you putting tails on your planes? Ut might seem obvious, bit you\'d be surprised how many people don\'t.
vexx32
If your plane is small and agile, ideally you want a joystick. In the absence of that, always have precision controls turned on (CAPSLOCK) when piloting a plane. Turning becomes easier with larger planes, as they\'re usually more stable. Pingonaut
My planes have tails, yes. I\'m sorry for my lack of knowledge, but what is banking?
SasquatchM
Roll clockwise to turn right, counter clockwise to turn left and pitch up.
Pingonaut
Do you roll with SAS on? I do, and then stop it fast to quicken the turn, then I level it out with SAS.
vexx32
'Banking' is just rolling. And whether or not you should use SAS for it is debatable and depends on whether or not you have a joystick available and the plane you\'re flying.
