Remove the unused root folders

Why do we even have these any more.. Nobody uses them (nor should they be), they're unnecessary clutter and worst of all, if you delete them, KSP just recreates them when you launch the game.

Get those unnecessary folders out! :mad:

It is strange that these still exist.

I suspect that they were left there for backwards-compatibility with old mods that have not been migrated to the current GameData system (i.e. pre 0.20).

That being said, given that the majority of said legacy add-ons have either been updated to 1.0 or abandoned, I definitely agree that those folders are no longer necessary.

It has come to my attention that certain folders in the KSP_win folder are redundant. Being part of the pre 0.20.0 modding system.

Currently we have 6 redundant folders in the KSP_win folder. These are;

- Internals

- Parts

- PluginData

- Plugins

- Resources

- sounds

None of these folders actually have anything in them and just make the KSP_win folder have more items.

These also confuse new players who are adding mods and may make the mistake of putting them in the wrong folder.

I sugest that Squad remove these redundant folders thereby cleaning up the KSP_win folder and allowing new players to mod without confusion.
