Temps bugging out

for some reason image below is happening, both with and without mods.

I've tried reinstalling and all the usual jazz but temperatures on the launch pad still hovers way above boiling

other issues that follows these shenanigans are parts like decouplers heating themselves up to the point where they explode from overheating on the launch pad

Eh? 312K ~= 39C = (Fahrenheit omitted, stupid measurement). A hot day, to be sure, but certainly not "way above boiling".

I'm not saying there aren't bugs, I've had stuff spontaneously overheat too, but I don't see the problem here TBH.

Wait they switched to kelvin?

that explains one thing but not another.

Still, if it's 39C it shouldn't be red hot in the temperature overlay, should it?

Overlay is black-body scale, red=cold -> yellow -> white=hot.

If you've ever used an FLIR camera this will be intuitive, otherwise not so much.
