Limit Node Attachment

With docking ports, you can specify a string for type, and ports can only attach to other ports with a matching type string.

Is there anything similar for attachment nodes? Such that I can define nodes on my parts such that they can only attach to nodes of the same type in the editor.

99% sure there isn't.

The specific docking string limitation is a function of the ModuleDockingPort partModule and only works in flight. In the editor you can attach anything to a docking node, not just another docking node of the same type.
