Anyone handy with Unity engine? Disable Doppler

Does anyone know how to disable the Doppler audio effect (things coming towards you sound higher in pitch) in Unity while playing Kerbal space program?

I think it is the cause of the sound being broken and choppy when things explode at high speed (Which is destroying the sound for me)

Heres the video of someone else having the same issue, I'm having exactly the same problem.

I'd like to just turn off the doppler effect just as a temporary fix untill squad gets around to working on the sound overhaul.

I can't find any .CFG or .ini files or similar I can just edit a value in to turn off the doppler in Kerbal's unity engine..... I've opened and searched every file in the entire of KSP for "Dop" and only found the lines:

get_dopplerlevel

set_dopplerlevel

In the unityengine.dll and Assembly-CSharp.dll files, but they have no values next to them to change and just seem to be lines detailing recognisable commands....

Is there any way to open a command console and input something like set_dopplerlevel 0 or put a cfg or something in gamedata that would achieve the same thing?

Would anyone by kind enough to help or advise please?
