MK2 Nose/Tail piece

I know the MK2 space plane is supposed to look like the SR71, but I use a lot of the parts for drones. Right now, I use the MK2/1.25m adapter fueltank...but that's a fuel-tank and is heavy, even if I unload the fuel. Also, there is no good tail piece, what-so-ever.

Seems like a no brainer.

Here's one such design that would benefit highly since the center section wouldn't need to be used for fuel, at all. It could be light weight components, but since I must use fuel tanks for tails, or at least as adapters, I'm going to fill them with fuel.

It's not actually. Those are old Mk2-shaped parts that PorkJet was about to release, but he didn't because there was a decision to make Mk2 parts symmetrical. Since then he's workin with Squad and didn't have the time to redo those.

These need to be stock. the inline mk2 has no good looking nose without it IMO.

True. But those did inspire the Mk2 Expansion Pack. It contains parts nearly identical to those.
