Lifting a 8000 ton fuel depot to orbit !

For the large scale industrialization of the Kerbin system , the Kerbal space agency needed refueling stations of several thousand tons in low Kerbin orbit .

The sensible way would be to use a string of efficient , easy to control and moderately large rockets to achieve this ,

but the Kerbal way is to send it all IN ONE GO !

The rocket is hollow , all the fuel lines and struts are mounted inside around a central spine of kerbodyne tanks .

The idea behind the rocket is to let the 2nd and 3rd stage help out to lift the monster of the ground , it also helps to reduce structural stress

since all the stages basically lifts them selves . the third stage is cross fuel fed from the 2nd stage so its topped up with fuel when its released .

I managed to reduce parts count to 690 with careful placements of struts and kerbodyne tanks , but it still launched at 2 fps on my mediocre computer !

I also noticed that there still was some fuel left in the second stage at separation so with a little adjustment even more fuel could be sent out to our brave Kerbonauts .

PS : The new aerodynamics came as a surprise to me ,I would defintively dropped the fairing later had i known .
