Clamber Boost

In the first segment of this video Bill is seen using clamber to boost to 3/4 the height of the round fuel tank.

Ladders seem to have the most effective force. Works on command modules as well.

Only two great leaps were made and other leaps were about half the height.

Has anyone perfected this new propellent force.

ClamberAmour

This force could be calculated.

To lift a kerbal (what does a kerbal weigh A Kerbal in an EVA suit has a mass of 93.75 kilograms) to that height (73-68=5 meters) in about 2 seconds.

Yes the flag pole can also be climbed.

The difference is now in 1.0.4 kerbals can(although it seems kinda glitchy) clamber to the top of the round tank.

The leap is also from the new clamber feature. If the kerbal jumps and then press F to climb. Resulting in a leap of 5 metre.

yes this sometimes mostly happens in whilst in space on EVA and it turns into some mad rage of grip lacking death inducing race to grab the ladderof flingy flimsiness.

"I SAY GRAB TEH LADDER! NOT FLING YOURSELF AWAY!! YOUR GONNA DIE"

So it might be that they dont have a deathwish, just some funkiness with the ladders hokai

@ Alshain

Thought you knew about the flag pole.

What about flag pole levitation?

This is on video and Bill just hovers there. I used the jet pack to orient him toward the camera. He hangs around in the air unlike bricks.

I've seen a similar phenomenon where if you climb the vab ladder, drop, but grab it again before you hit the ground, you get pulled up to near where you let go.

However, this was a slightly different phenomenon.
