Yup, pretty much like that.

BTW, You know you can drop those two medium SRB's, right? They are there only for structural reinforcement during launch, under the gentle tug of the nukes the ring is stable enough to be moved without them. They are actually action-grouped to "abort" so you can drop them as soon as you ditch the last pair of boosters and don't litter space. Not that they take a lot of mass, but they do look a bit ugly and they take two ports where you could store a probe or two.

With all those Ore tanks, I reckon I can get enough dV to make the trip anywhere, even carrying a fully fueled lander and an assortment of modules. Note how I keep a couple of Klaw Pods on the ports I mentioned, so I can move stuff around when I get to my destination while still having free ports of all sizes. Alternatively, you could also put the nukes there to free the exterior docking ports...

I didn't realize that those SRB's were meant to be dropped... 6 less parts! Yay!!

Here is my SP-360 docked to the Von Braun station, that I modified slightly.

Replaced two of the SRBs with procedural tanks to give it more fuel capacity so it acts as a refueling station.
