I enjoy writing, and this is where I will upload it. Pretty much all I'll probably ask for is a few minor ideas. Thankyou for your help.

Ooh. Thanks for the idea, I'll keep it noted. Maybe part of the HGesque series.

At present, I'm doing Scotterland.

Would you find a satirical Deerism offensive? Snippet:

"DeerRichard 1:9. After DeerSaviour had flown to DeerSaviourFollower1's house, he taught DeerSaviourFollower1 a lesson:

'If you are in a pickle, ask DeerGod to help you!'

DeerSaviourFollower1 was astounded at this genius that DeerSaviour had given him.

"Thankyou, DeerSaviour!" he said.

"Let the DeerPeace guide your way to the meadows!" said DeerSaviour."

It is meant to be a joke, not a religion disparager.

Ho, fellow writer.

Here's a few things that may be of interest to you for practicing skills when you don't know what to work on.

Chapterfy: A place where you can post your writing online one chapter at a time. Useful for sharing projects that are still being worked on.

Storium: A weird mix of cooperative writing and tabletop RPG. Slow in pace, but you get to really observe how other people write and the balancing system is great for developing balanced characters with both strengths and flaws.

And, if you're a reddit user, /WritingPrompts. A great place to dish out a scene or two each day to sharpen your skills.

Chapterfy was what I thought might interest you for sharing writing, but once I started typing it up I figured I'd throw the other two in as well.

I, too, am an amateur author (emphasis on amateur). I started by writing superhero-like stories when I was eight, then tried (and failed) to move into science fiction between the ages of ten and thirteen. For the five years since, I've moved into epic fantasy (Wheel of Time, Lord of the Rings, etc.) and feel like I do much better with fantasy than science fiction. If you enjoy building worlds from the ground up, try writing a bit of fantasy.

Here are a few essays by a fantasy author about magic systems in fantasy. I'd recommend reading them even if you're not writing fantasy. A lot of what they say can be extrapolated to many aspects and genres of writing.
