Asymmetric thrust, FAR, and another intriguing question.

Hello there.

I'd like to know how does one set up asymmetric thrust properly.

Thing is, I'm doing a plane and the best (aesthetically speaking) place that I can put the engine is not aligned with the CoM.

otherwise you could just tweak the thrust limiters of some engines and abuse RCS power, but that's long, tedious, hard, and cheap. !

Maybe you could try to counter the engine torque with some draggy parts placed at the right spot.

Use RCS Build Aid and align thrust through COM by rotating the engine slightly. OTOH, for planes it doesn't matter too much if thrust isn't aligned - provided you have enough control authority to hold level flight at full throttle. This can even be advantageous at times as it allows control without control surfaces.

Yes, that's what I'm planning to do: align the wings and engine in a way so that the torque gets countered.

Does anyone know how to find that alignment?

I have it installed, but if I use it the plane will have to be "not level" so that the engines can push it forwards.
