XCOM Interceptor

So I made this some while back when I first saw the XCOM 2 trailer. In a fury of Hype I went and put this thing together.

The original version was intended to use IR motors so it could be a tilt-wing VTOL like it is in XCOM. After failing once too many times I opted to use the Quiztech wing fans instead.

It scoots around quite nice with just the wing fans, however for speeds under 15m/s its recommended to use the RCS because those front chines like to pull the nose done (and were a big issue early in the building of this craft).

I'll probably update this page with more images when I feel like opening KSP.
