Entropy
Back, long ago, I remember a game that was about a cat flying around in space in a spaceship that was (I think) rectangular. You could actually go down and walk around on the planets. The graphics were pretty crap, but it was fun. Hoping somebody else remembers this- I remember playing this for a bit as a kid and being really enamored- if confused- with it.

Entropy
No, not quite. This is from five years ago, easy- maybe seven or eight.Oh, also, it wasn't a browser game- you downloaded the executable.
Lolipop
I believe you are talking about Noctis. Although, I don't think that you are a cat. But the game is old ,you can land on planets and the graphics are bad so it might be worth checking out.
Entropy
Yeah, it's Noctis- but unfortunately, it won't run on 64-bit systems.Wonder if a 32-bit OS running in a virtual machine on a 64-bit OS would work, though...Still, many thanks. I remembered it last week sometime, and I couldn't get it out of my head.
jangofett287
I got it running in DosBox after some persuasion. Planet @ 410042; 443390; -1392180 I plan to name Kerbia! ;D
Entropy
What tweaks did you do? It says it won't run in DOS mode, and I'm not a DOS or DOSBox expert enough to fix that.EDIT: Okay, I got it working (sorta) by running Noctis.exe in the Modules folder. Problem is, it seems to run at a frame every three or four seconds and it's stuck in Standby.
jangofett287
you need to make a few tweaks to the options file.copy paste from a forum thread over on the noctis forums:Set the core to always be Dynamic, because if it's on auto, it won't run rightset full resolution to 0x0make sure that fulldouble is falseAlso be very sure that aspect is falseset cycles to maxthat the following settings:fulldouble=falsefullresolution=0x0aspect=falsecore=dynamiccycles=maxif it still runs slowly:memsize =
