[Bug] Time is being lost

Recommended Posts

KSP 1.0.4 64-bit Windows, running Windows 8.1.

I don't use mods, so when I run multiple missions I write down when events are going to happen.

Sometimes the time gets confused. For example, I have two missions scheduled to get back from Minmus. In both cases I wrote down time of Kerbin apoapsis. One event scheduled at UT (As visible from either the tracking station or the space center) 18 days 8 hours 57 minutes, and another at 18 days 7 hours 40 minutes. I started a Mun mission, which involved launching it at around 14 days 5 hours, doing the initial transfer burn, and adjusting it, which involved messing with maneuver nodes, doing burns, and time-warping for under an hour total. I was being careful because I had another event scheduled for 14 7 19 (Munar periapsis).

It is now 15 days 0 hours in my game, and one of the previous events is going to happen at 19 4 57 and the other one at 19 1 40. The Munar periapsis is now at 15 1 19.

So time appears to have advanced by exactly 18 hours.

I have seen this happen before, but I don't have a repro case other than this vagueness.

I tried to sign up for the bug tracker but email is not being sent so I can't confirm my account.

Okay, I'm not accounting for 6-hour days. When I saw "UT" I assumed time was being measured in increments of 24 hours.

Ah yeah. I was going to ask about that.

There is an option to use either clock, although it seems like most people have become accustomed to the Kerbin days.

Cheers,
