Without the R&D facility upgrade fuel can be managed using docking port juniors.

Drop tanks can be used and a probe can dock with another drop tank.

Experiments in fuel flow were investigated.

Fuel flows not radial but axial through docking port juniors.

Jet engines grab fuel from wherever.

Rocket engines have fuel flow through SRB's axial and not radial.

The SRB can be filled.
