how do i stream ksp without lag to youtube?

i'm using obs (open broadcaster software) but it always crashes or makes fps real low.

please help!

i3 3120m 2.5GHz

nvidia geforce gt 635m 1gb vram

8gm ram

Windows? 32bit or 64bit? Your CPU is not very powerful, good enough just barely, on top of 32bit, you probably don't have enough oomph

Reduce your capture resolution and framerate, that will make the processor's job easier. For the bitrate a common recommendation is 0.1 bits per pixel, so do (width x height x fps x 0.1)/1024 to get a suitable bitrate in kbps. If you're recording at 720p, 30 fps that means 2700 kbps.

Do you use Game Capture? I remember experiencing some serious lags when experimenting with it about one year ago. It could have already been fixed though.
