Can't warp when using Ion engine.

Hello, I can't use the warp function to speed up time when using a ion Engine.. it's quite ridiculous that Squad did not make warp function with ion Engines, It worked Before the 1.0's but not not. Am I to understand that I am going to sit and wait 20 minutes for my flight path to be made? Or is there a way to warp with Ion Engines?

I'm pretty sure it's never been possible. Before 1.0 and now all you can do is the 4x physics warp by holding alt + .

Weird, I could go full up on the warp on a alpha version 23 or something.

That's because the thrust is so low that the game consideres you not accelerating at all, in fact you are, but it's so slow it dosen't pick it up.

But now the game has been tweaked to be much more sensitive, that is based upon your answer. Therefore a minimal thrust might work, I'm off to test that theory.

You can use physical warp of up to 4x while burning by pressing Alt+the regular timewarp buttons, that should cut those 20 minute burns down to a more reasonable 5 minutes.

Didn't work. I guess I have to use '.' to speed up time. Also Red Iron Crown, nekogod, I just have to press '.' - Without the single quotation marks.

It's a different key combination for physical warp (where you can have the engine running). , and . are for "on-rails" warp where no thrust is possible. Pressing Mod + them will do physical warp (1x, 2x, 3x, and 4x). On Windows the Mod key is Alt, on Linux it is RShift, on OSX it is Option.
