Yes, something like:

ModuleAnimateGeneric otherAnimModule = //get reference here.
otherAnimModule.StartAnimation(); //replace .StartAnimation() with what you are actually trying to do, there are 3 or 4 different methods that start/stop/pause animation you can call.
