The Kerbolet LeDoux

When the goin' gets rough- She's tough!

Introducing the very latest in high-tech, high-spec, big four-legged and fuel-injected offroad pickups!

The LeDoux clocks in at almost 14.7 tons, costs roughly 12,928 units to produce, and with a top speed of a blistering 24.8 m/s, this pickup truck is sure to provide hours of fun rolling around in almost any sort of terrain imaginable! The LeDoux also packs a big bed perfect for attaching any sort of equipment to, and can carry tons and tons of extra fun.

Part of the unique design of the LeDoux is its massive tires, big and ready to roll under any sort of condition. In reality, they're simply two RoveMax M1's smushed together to add increased stability and weight-carrying capability. 15 tons of pickup is a lot to haul around!

Underneath the hood, the LeDoux packs 1920 units of electrical charge, for roving around Kerbin's surface like no other vehicle.

The LeDoux comes equipped with 4-wheel drive and 4-wheel steering, though both can be disabled in favor of rear-wheel drive and front-wheel steering. 4-wheel drive provides extra acceleration and the vehicle's highest top speed of 24.8 m/s. The brakes on the LeDoux can bring the hulking pickup to a stop safely and efficiently, and the LeDoux is capable of withstanding a head-on collision with a wall at even its top speed. The LeDoux seats 5 with the option of adding extra carrying capacity in the bed. There isn't anything this pickup can't do!

I love the big wheel idea, might have to steal that. :D

Steal away!*

The idea was actually just a random thought I had; my previous workaround was an ugly method of basically hiding the foldable landing gear just inboard of the wheels. From the outside it looked cool, but look at it from basically any angle other than behind it and the illusion was revealed. So I tried this and miraculously it didn't result in fiery death like I thought it would!

*Make royalty checks out to Kerbolet North America.
