Engineering Drawings

I make small sketches of my best designs and I was thinking how nice it would be if I could generate an engineering drawing of my ship in the VAB. A 3-axis drawing with an axis cutaway with labelling for parts would be very cool and, I'm sure, very doable.

As for styles I'd love to see a 1950's drawing with random (or sensible) sketches or notes on the side. There could also be full colour pictures or other interesting styles of drawing.

You could output as a PDF or JPEG to modify or print out.

Something along the lines of Kronal Vessel Viewer? That would be great.

Yes, Kronal is really nice. I think a formal version could be properly 'Kerbalised' with the flair that has made this game so great. It could be coded such that any doodles on the side of the paper are relevant to the parts in the drawing and designers notes are pencilled in the margins... so many possibilities.
