Hi everyone, Scarps here.

Im new to KSP, really loving it, about 15 hours in.

I've been following Scott Manley's tips and tutorials, to get the hang of the game. But I'm having a major problem in my career with missing technology (that should be there according to the wiki).

I'll post another thread with a picture, hopefully someone can help me out. This is driving me crazy!

Hmm. Yes, pictures would help. You might be describing the tech limits of the Tier 1 Space Center buildings. (No EVA, no maneuver nodes, stuff like that.)
