maneuver nodes?

I've started a Hard career and I've (after much toil) upgraded my Control Room and Mission Control to level 2. This has supposedly unlocked the ability to plan flights.

However, when I mouse over any of the orbits in the control room, I don't get any maneuver nodes :-( is there something else I have to do? Will I only see them for ships that I launch from now?

You can only plan a maneuver node for the active flight, not from the control room. Double click on a craft to go to it.

hmm, that sucks. I am sure I was able to do this in earlier versions. Is that feature unlocked with further upgrades to facilities?

No, you were never able to do that, IIRC.

1) you have to have direct control of the vessel at that moment

2) you have to have SOME velocity in some direction

or you won't able to make a manuever node.

Editing maneuvers from the Tracking Station would be a really neat feature though.

If you set up a maneuver node from the direct flight control screen, you can see them in the Tracking Station but you can't edit them.
