Well, since the dark matter thread has apparently hit a unexpectly slitty snag, I figure I would help it all out by adding This topic dealing white matter or white mass.....whatever lingo makes you happy.

The topic is what forces have gravitationally rounded Mimas and Miranda, the two smallest round celestials in our solar system.

Anyways, think of it like this:

A fluid under high pressure pushes a solid into the shape of a sphere. In this scenario, instead of pressure it's gravity, but the end result is similar.

Like I said, simple. But the article goes into detail, it basically argues that Mimus is a 3 focal point elliptical because of the tidal locking to Saturn.
